Re-Piping Services in Northern Colorado

Replace failing galvanized, polybutylene, or corroded pipe systems with long-lasting copper or PEX — minimal disruption, drywall patched and finished after.

What's Included

Full Home Re-Pipe

Complete replacement of all supply lines throughout the home. We work section by section to keep water on whenever possible during the job. Most full re-pipes take 2–4 days for an average single-family home.

Partial Re-Pipe

When only specific sections of pipe are failing — isolated pinhole leaks in copper, a single corroded galvanized branch, or polybutylene in one zone — a partial re-pipe is a cost-effective solution.

Galvanized Steel Pipe Removal

Galvanized steel pipe common in pre-1965 Colorado homes corrodes from the inside, reducing water pressure and contaminating water with iron and scale. We replace with copper or PEX-A and restore full flow.

Polybutylene Pipe Removal

Gray polybutylene pipe installed in homes from the late 1970s through the mid-1990s has a documented failure rate due to chlorine sensitivity. Most insurance companies flag it. We remove and replace completely.

Copper Pipe Installation

Type L copper is our preferred material for main supply lines — long-lasting, reliable, and compatible with Northern Colorado's water chemistry. All soldered joints are made by our certified technicians.

PEX-A Installation

PEX-A (expansion PEX) is our preferred flexible pipe for branch lines and tight spaces. It resists freeze damage better than copper and has excellent long-term performance in Colorado's climate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I have galvanized or polybutylene pipe?+

Galvanized pipe is steel-grey and magnetic. Polybutylene is typically grey or blue plastic, usually stamped "PB2110". We can identify your pipe type during a free assessment.

Will you patch the drywall after?+

Yes, always. Drywall patching and finishing is included in every re-pipe quote. We leave walls paint-ready.

How long will the water be off during the job?+

We minimize water-off time by working in sections. For most days of the job, water is only off for a few hours. We always coordinate timing with you.

Does insurance cover re-piping?+

Typically no — re-piping is a preventive maintenance project, not an insured event. However, some insurers reduce premiums or require re-piping as a condition of coverage on older homes. Check with your insurer.
