Most homeowners don't think about licensing until something goes wrong. They call a plumber for a leak and an electrician for an outlet problem — two separate calls, two separate visits, two separate invoices. I built Angel Plumbing & Electrical specifically because DC Metro homes constantly need both.
The DC Metro Home Problem
A significant portion of the plumbing and electrical calls I get in DC Metro involve both trades. A water heater replacement that requires a new 240V circuit. A kitchen remodel that needs new outlets and new supply lines. A basement finishing project that needs both drain rough-in and electrical rough-in on the same day.
“Angel handled both our plumbing and electrical for a kitchen renovation. One call, one schedule, one invoice. Saved us at least a week of coordination. — David R., Alexandria VA”
The Licensing Difference
I'm licensed for both plumbing and electrical in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. That means when I show up to your home, I can assess both systems honestly — not just the one I happen to be licensed for. I've caught electrical issues on plumbing calls and plumbing issues on electrical calls that would have gone unnoticed by a single-trade contractor.
When Dual Licensing Matters Most
Kitchen and bathroom remodels. Basement finishing. Water heater upgrades that require new circuits. Generator hookups that need gas line work. Outdoor kitchen installations. Any project where plumbing and electrical overlap — which is most major home projects — benefits from having one licensed pro who can handle both.
