Deck Restoration — Charlotte, NC

This Charlotte deck had years of weathering — gray, rough wood, peeling old stain, and biological growth worked into the grain. The homeowner wanted it restored without replacing boards that still had structural life left in them.

Marcus's crew started with a full pressure wash followed by a wood brightener treatment to open the grain. After drying, rough spots were sanded smooth before stain application. Two coats of semi-transparent stain were applied to all surfaces including railings and steps.

The finished deck looks new — and is now properly protected for the next 2-3 Charlotte seasons.
